Everything about this hotel was spectacular. Room was beautifully designed and decorated, with thoughtful touches. I was there on a rainy day, so sat on the balcony with tea and blanket, staring at the misty green hills. Breakfast was big and tasty. Owner was charming, friendly, local restaurant recommendations, ensured I returned back safely from local hikes. Located steps away from hike to Little Adam's Peak in quieter part of Ella.

One Ella is the perfect place for a solo getaway or a romantic trip with your significant other. The rooms are immaculate, the views are spectacular, and the owner (Dom) made sure we had everything we needed. I just wished we had stayed longer!

The room was comfortable and clean. The property is very close to Little Adam's peak trail, Flying Rawana zipline and the 9 arches bridge. Also, Dom was an excellent host who made our stay pleasant.

This was one of our favourite places during our time in Sri Lanka. Amazing clean room and bathroom, with the highlight being the gorgeous balcony and incredible view. The staff were super helpful and we enjoyed a great breakfast on the balcony. We ate at the restaurant downstairs in the evening and ate one of the best curries that we had during our holiday.

The One Ella is only two boutique apartments situated near Little Adam’s Peak, well away from busy downtown Ella. View to Ella Rock - perfect for chilling in the patio hammock. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast served on your patio. Bed, bathroom, room - all good. Within walking distance of Little Adam’s Peak, the Nine Arch Bridge and only a short tuk tuk ride to downtown Ella though there area number of restaurants very nearby.

The One Ella is located in a fantastically beautiful location. The view of the tea fields is great. The accommodation is super clean and well maintained. The Little Adam’s Peak, the Nine Arches Bridge and the small town of Ella are within walking distance. The surroundings are quiet compared to the lively city center of Ella. Dom, the host and his employees are super helpful and organize everything on request. Breakfast is served on the terrace and is a dream. Unimaginably delicious and I could try all the local delicacies. Of course, there was also the European version. Thank you Shan for the incredible breakfast. Unfortunately, I need a larger dress size now. We were on site for five days and would not take fewer days in the future, because you can achieve and do a lot from here. Many thanks to the team. You were great.

We stayed for 2nights at The One, and it was perfect. The detached unit is well-designed, spotlessly clean, and has some great touches only found at small boutique places like this. For instance, outside the room is a patio with sofa, dining table, and a hammock. It overlooks the beautiful Ella greenery. Inside, the bed is large and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and modern. It includes toiletries, shower gel, shampoo etc, drinking water, a fridge, etc. A fabulous breakfast is served on the private patio. A delicious sri lankan omelette, toast, pancake, fresh fruits, smoothie, etc. Hospitality by Dom, the owner, and his two staff members is excellent. The location is very convenient, right on the pathway to Little Adams peak. A great view of nine arches bridge was just a short hike away too. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Hope to be back one day!

We had a wonderful time at "The One Ella" which is strategically located between the tourist hotspots "Little Adams Peak" and "Nine Arches Bridge" of Ella which were reachable by foot in 30/20 minutes respectively. Dom is a perfect host and we really enjoyed staying with him and his very friendly team. The comfy apartment with terrace had a good size, was immaculate clean and provided everything we needed. Breakfast was very good too. We actually stayed a lot of our time on-site, just relaxing on the terrace in the hammock, enjoying the view and it really felt like second home. Dom and his team gave valuable tips for timing our trips and showed us paths neither Komood nor Google maps knew about. All agreements and timings were met to our full satisfaction. Dom even organised train tickets to Kandy for us (we contacted him in due time before our trip) - the precious 2nd class with seat reservation. Great!
